Village Aid Mission
Village Aid is an international development charity that empowers disadvantaged people in Africa to improve their own lives.
Village Aid works with people in Africa to secure long term positive change in their lives. They achieve this by developing strong working relationships with local community based partners, supporting them to build their own capacity and to deliver grassroots programmes including: Education & Learning, Securing Livelihoods and Advocacy and Justice.
In the UK Village Aid fundraise by raising awareness of our work and the challenges facing rural communities in West Africa. They have previously worked with schools to engage with global issues through drama and participatory learning as part of the DFID-funded ‘Growing Global’ project.
